I'm eager to see this confrontation - Yomiko vs. Alucard. Though I worry; won't old blood-and-guts just tear right through any paper attack ...?

Well, I'm curious to see whether you'll be able to inject as much raw insanity into this crossover as you do into Strange Candy, Xu, old boy. ^^ Oh, yes ... Hello, everyone; behold my first post on this forum.

Heh ... I liked the chibi-Pip and -Seras dancing together at the bottom. ^^ Knowing a bit of the actual Hellsing manga, I still vastly prefer And Shine Heaven Now ... But the song was quite appropriate.

; Ack. Um, wait ... If Alucard is now female, wouldn't that mean Integra and Seras Victoria would become male? ... Hmmm ... Potential trouble during vampire lessons: Girlycard: "Alright, now look at the target with your third eye, the one in your foreh -- Police boy! I said look at the TARGET with your third eye, stop checking out my butt!" >_<;

This was ... funny and horrible at the same time. ^^; I wonder how much worse Luke would have felt about being eaten, not just 'by a doggie', but by a French poodle ...?

Hmm. Fascinating story, depressing view of the future. ^^; What ever happened to dreams of Utopia ...?

Granted. But still ... 'savoir' is meant for more abstract matters than a physical being. ^^; Sorry.

*cough* -_-; Umm ... am I horribly late to input a correction of the French? Probably so, but I'm a nitpick for what I do know ... sorry for the topic necromancy. Right here ... When you want to say in French that you know/recognize someone, you use the verb connaƮtre; so Madeline should've said: "Je vous connais!" Savoir is to know things, like data.

Okay, I'll buy that Yomiko Readman is big-chested, but Integra never struck me as such.

Comic writers seeking comic artists. Summary: various plotlines, initially to be handled separately, then to slowly converge as connections become more evident. Sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, romance, intrigue and horror all will have their place in this webcomic. I'd prefer to keep the exact plotlines secret for now -- only serious applicants are going to be given in-depth information, so we can keep things surprising. Writing sample: This was written by a member of our team. It's pretty long and you'd have to know the webcomic it was based on ... Does it help he's been published thrice now? Contact information: Please apply here. We'll then get back to you. Please, no spamming or jokes ... only serious applications. We have fairly detailed character descriptions and some sketches already done. We will provide scripts with most of the story detail worked out; the artist can probably interpret a little as is necessary. This is a matter open to discussion between artist and authors. We'd prefer manga-style drawing, but if your art is just plain good, feel free to apply. Quality trumps preference. Incentive ... The main incentive is to have fun with this thing and maybe create a following. If we ever somehow manage to make money out of this, all contributors would be entitled to a fair share, to be negotiated.

So I went to the Animecon last weekend, Friday - Sunday (No, you wouldn't have heard of it, strictly a Dutch event. ^^ Nyah.), and they showed some episodes of Hellsing. Out of curiosity, I watched a bit.
...
Don't read on if you dislike criticism on Hellsing.
...
Well, I mentioned when I first arrived that the manga didn't really agree with me, didn't I? ^^; Let's just say that the anime showed me that: 1) The main characters can come across as even more murderous lunatics than when they're pictures in a tankubon, thanks to their seiyuu; 2) It's extremely funny for some reason to hear Anderson's seiyuu say 'Amen'. I wonder if all Japanese people pronounce it that way? ^^; Basically, it was just amusing to hear him speak English at all ...

You could try ordering it on-line, right? Tokyopop.com or another site?

As you can see, I'm new here. I may be an odd bird in that I'm not so much a fan of the Hellsing manga (never watched the anime), since the violence got to be a bit much for me. I'm more of an admirer of 'And Shine Heaven Now'; I like the humor. ^^; Please have patience with me, I try to make it worth people's while in the long run.
