But ... it'd be just a few inches from pillow to neck. How could a book hit the parasite without clobbering Yomiko, too? P.S.: I've yet to encounter a Goa'uld with a genuine sense of humor, but the 'snakes on a brain'-crack is priceless. ^^

Wait ... ; Wells succeeded at killing Hakim? Eh-oh. If the temporal ripple effect is effective, that means Integra's father married someone else ... meaning the current head of Hellsing won't be Integra. And they won't have any reason to correct this. And no one will even remember Integra's existence. ... Unless Hakim had already conceived Integra's mother?

Indeed, it is! ^^ Take a cookie, Gabryel. The Goa'uld are parasites, who insinuate themselves into the human body and take over within a minute. Possibly half a minute, from what I've seen of StarGate episodes. And if Yomiko was asleep, well ... Willpower would allow a 'host' to keep part of its thoughts hidden and communicate with the parasite, maybe trick it if an opportunity arose, but not to remove the creature.

I notice you haven't debunked my Goa'uld ploy yet ...

How about Yomiko vs. a Goa'uld that's hidden itself in her pillow? The instant she falls asleep ... *schlurpt!*
What about Yomiko versus someone with ice powers, rather than fire powers? If her paper gets frozen into a solid mass before it can reach her opponent, it's useless to her. The enemy could even make it move in glacier-fashion and bury her underneath.
As for old Megs - you know he'd send an underling at her first, to gauge her strengths and weaknesses. If he saw he couldn't take her, he wouldn't unless he was pushed; he'd create the monster of the week to take her on for him. ^^

What about a character that directly attacks her mind?
Sidenote - Sheesh! Yumie in fangirl-mode. Just shrink her a little and make her go 'EEEEE~!' and she'd fit right in with the others. ^^;

Yeah, but aren't those all tied up in Yumiko? -_^

Isn't it amazing how Pip can manage to get his foot in his mouth when he's too creaky to stand up by himself? ^^

*slaps forehead* Aaaghh, I never saw it coming! ^^ Genius; the i-jin's after Integra's maternal ancestor, not her paternal one! It's truly inspired!

Pffft~!! ^^ "Good doggie"! Oh, this is priceless! It seems Integra's personality is changing along with her body, though. Or am I mistaken? >_>;
