At the MipTV Tradeshow in France, Genon announced a MAJOR surprise to the delight of fans worldwide! Genon Entertainment is involved in making a new Hellsing OVA series. Episodes will be 35 minutes long and will closely follow the manga. No word has been given as to episode count or how long it will take before release. It's not known if it's going to pick up where the other series left off or if it's gonna start from scratch. www.animeondvd.com/images/hellsingova.jpgOh, I'm so happy right now!!!!

Sorry to be pessimistic, but I've seen too many "there's going to be more Hellsing" rumours. Can you link to an article on the matter? I can't find one at my regular sources. Edit: I'll believe it when I see it on ANN

Ooh, so they're already starting on the cast. I really hope it won't be long before it's finished.

Well, generally voices are done before any really animation begins. (At least, that's how it works in North America).
From what I've seen of Japanese sequels and such, the original voice actors usually come back, this happens less so in N.A. Probably because V.A.s aren't as highly worshiped here. Maybe.
But I still think it will be a while before we see anything. It would be better to wait then to see a rushed job.
