Don't forget Light x L from Death Note. While not a thief, Light is certainly a criminal. It's amazing how much Light x L slash is out there.

Since I have no LJ account (I stay away from blogs), I'll have to comment here.
One of my tendencies is to ship for the underdog.
Examples:
Lenier and Delenn (B5) Seiya and Usagi (Sailor Moon, since Seiya >>> Mamoru)
Though this only applies when I either feel sympathetic to said underdog (Lenier) or when the main male lead is a jerk (Mamoru).
I also ship psycho and stalker types with the object of their "affections."
Examples:
Techno and "Daisy" (Don't Leave Me Alone Daisy) Fiore and Mamoru (Sailor Moon R Movie) Bubbancy and Integra Envy and Ed (FMA) Shizuru and Natsuki (Mai Hime and Otome)

The person buying the watch is Mina. The person getting the watch is one Abraham Hellsing, Arthur Hellsing's dad and Integra's other grandpa. Note that Integra had to sell her grandpa's watch to get them clothes when they arrived. Now we know how the grandfather got it in the first place. Whee!
(FYI: That was Erin's idea.)

However, if there is no paradox, there is no reason for Yomiko to be present in the past, annulling her presence there and causing the paradox all over again. Right. But when the paradox is created, it causes Yomiko to be there, which means the paradox doesn't happen. So either the paradox happens or it is prevented from happening. Erin's solution is a lot nicer, though.

Not really. Or rather, it does, but one that will always resolve, because if Wells succeeds in creating the paradox, Yomiko stops him from traveling at all. In cases where he doesn't travel back in time, it's because he's been blown up. So Wells going back in time always ends in the paradox being unmade, which means that even if a Yomiko isn't there to stop him because the paradox hasn't been created, there will be one if and when Wells travels. So there is no outcome where Wells succeeds in the end, so there is no paradox.

Y'know, I'm rapidly rethinking the "it's sad Fundamental's going to be erased"-thing, here ... -_-* Oh, well. Seras, you're up! Um, no. Given the power hierarchy, Seras isn't second in the group. She's third. Guess who's only slightly behind Alucard in terms of power (though #1 in terms of overall abilities)?

Gah...I think my head just swelled up a couple sizes. Not that I mind, but I need to control it else I become insufferable! ^_^;;
Thanks, Erin.

You'll see the effects of this soon. As for the Goa'uld, here's what would happen: Goa'uld: *under the pillow* Muah ha ha! Now it's time for snakes...on a brain! *The Goa'uld slithers up, then hits a book that happens to get in the way* Goa'uld: Ow! Let me try again... *Slithers at Yomiko's head again. Another book falls right into its path and it hits it* Goa'uld: Grrr... *Flies really quick at Yomiko this time. With a sigh, she turns over in her sleep. Suddenly, a stack of books falls, crushing the Goa'uld worm flat and killing it* Yomiko: *mumble mumble* As said in the manga, Yomiko doesn't just love books. They love her, too. And they'd do whatever it takes to protect her. So, nyeh!

Ice powers would be of no use. She could have the paper vibrate to shatter whatever enclosure they were in. If he froze a lot of it together, her telekinetic paper control could send the block of ice back at him, no matter how much control he had of ice.

Yomiko's will power is probably strong enough for her to shrink off telepathic assaults. All she has to do is focus on books and there's nothing someone can do to take her mind off of it.
She is the living avatar of all things paper. As such, she has near-divine power potentials. Enough to make her paper count as magical (which is why it could contain Alucard).
Some match-ups and what would happen:
Yomiko vs. Witch Hunter Robin - Yomiko wins, since she can reconstitute paper that's been burned, negating Robin's fire powers.
Yomiko vs. Utena - Yomiko wins using a paper flurry to knock the rose off. (Anthy would then start reading a whole lot of books.)
Yomiko vs. Megatron - He's bigger, but she can slice through his metal with ease. Cutting off his legs renders him immobile. Clogging his gun with paper would make it explode on him. He's out.
Yomiko vs. Haruko from FLCL - Paper speedbump to send Haruko off her Vespa, then a paper guitar to battle Haruko's own. Yomiko wins, claims the guitar, and strums up a filk song.
Yomiko vs. Queen Metallia from Sailor Moon - Yomiko makes a paper tube that reflects Metallia's own energy burst back at her. Metallia blows herself up. No need for a Silver Crystal!
...and the list goes on. About the only ones that might give her trouble are types like Washu or Sailor Galaxia who have cosmic level powers. Anything short of that will probably lose.

Sort of. They share memories, but they have different primary characteristics. The love of Nenene's work is strong enough that it affects them both equally. Like a thing they both agree on.
On today's: Yomiko was SO going to kick Anderson's tail. My basic premise is that Yomiko can probably take down almost any anime character, with the exception of a few of the godlike ones. (And even then...)

Yumie isn't all blood and guts. She has violent tendencies, but she has other elements to her.
