if there's a single person here without both of those then paint me red and slap me silly. They're not even up to date on the manga, and the link to the anime download page is broken o.O

I just read chap 74...Hirano sure loves killing his characters, doesn't he? Thank god Erin's already said her version won't be as blood thirsty.

Every time someone says Rip is a werewolf instead of a vampire, Hirano kills a character.
(Being intentionally vague so as not to spoil too much.) I will definitely give better deaths to the character(s) who died right when Dark Walter appeared, if I kill them at all. Because that part was just . . . eh.

Yeah. I can understand Hirano wanted to establish that Dark Walter (or should we just call this new version "Shinigami?") is tricked out, but he could have done it a different way. Those two deserved a better end, given how popular they are. (Though one of them may have survived, since a simple headshot may not enough and is not a guaranteed kill.)

you know... what I was CERTAIN was going to happen was that walter would turn out to still be alive, meaning that he could kill alucard. Pity really, that would have been a wonderful twist.

Well, Doc did say he didn't have time to really finish working Walter over. So it's possible Alucard could snap him out of it. I'd much rather see Dark Walter turn to good and help kick Millennium butt than go out like just another villain. And if he lives at the end, it means he'll be a prime rival for Alucard's affections. XD
