would you prefer it to be live-action or animated? What are your ideas on a cast? Director/producer/screenwriter?

I really don't think I would like it to be live-action. I just don't think it would look right...

-=avoids the volley of rotten tomatoes=-
Director: Tarentino (he can do the smart alicked retorts mingled with the action just supurbly)
Victoria: Drew Barrymore
Alucard: Gary Oldman or....OR....if he can act....and he tones down his frekishness... Marilyn Manson.
Farguson: Sir Sean Connery.
I know my spelling is horrendous. -=places the blindfold over my eyes and waits the tomatoes=-

I think Drew Barrymore is a little old for Victoria, but I have no better suggestions.
There was a site posted on the Bloodknight forums for people to vote on the cast of a live-action Hellsing movie, but since that part of the forum has been blocked off except for VIPs, I can't get to it right now.

Which part of the forums? I've got VIP access, but I can't seem to find such a thread.

Either Anime, or OVA I think.

I found it. I agree with SOME of the choices like Cate Blanchett as Integra and Jason Isaacs as Maxwell. I just feel like Gary Oldman would be best suited for the role of Alucard. I mean, they DO look alike.

I'd really prefer animated. While CGI is getting really spify, it's just not the same seeing Gary Oldman as Alucard. I did read that stuff on the BloodKnight forums (before it got VIP'd I guess) and their Alucard suggestion wasn't bad. However, I vote for animated. With Crispin Freedman as Alucard's voice, naturally. ;D

There seems to be a lot of division over Crispin Freeman. Currently there are two online petitions. One to keep him as the voice of Alucard and one to get rid of him.
I personally love him as Alucard.

I love the man! I met Freeman at a con, he visited the San Diego Comic Con three years ago and he cosplayed as Alucard. Complete with Joshua and Jackal. I cried like a little girl....I think he is best suited for Alucard, no one else I think can do it better for the american voice over.

He posted pictures on his website of when he cosplayed as Alucard. It was pretty sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the velvet coat, but it was original. I would die to meet Freeman. Too bad he hasn't come to Canada yet. I was talking to some of the staff at Anime North and they really want to get him there.

Casting Call! Alucard- Glenn Danzig could definitetly pull off the depraved evil smile, If not him, Dani Filth could do the voice pretty well (Cradle of Filth's Lead Singer) Seras- Chasey Lane! Hot, blonde, and a great actress. (*gigglesnerk*;D;D;D) Integra- Christa Miller, with some hair dye and if she can pull off a good british accent...if not Julianna Margulies or Heather Graham

As for accents, I would prefer it be someone who doesn't have to fake the accent.

I would love to see a live action movie made almost completely of newcomers (if they could act of course). That would be freakin' sweet.

a live action cast of new comers would be class though the characters for seras and integra shouldn't be told old as there only about 21 in the comic.
though it be hard to find a young actress that can come across as commanding and in charge like Integra
